Hello,
Is it possible to include visio-graphics in Latex-documents ? Or do I have to convert the visio-file to PDF ? If I have to convert what is the best way? I tried this:
1) Save VISIO-graphics as (E)PS-file 2) Open in Acrobat Destiller 3) PDF-file is generated 4) Include PDF-file in LATEX-document
But some of the graphics gets lost during this conversion. For example : I have filled a box with diagonal lines, but in the converted PDF I only see the boundary of the
box and not the fill. Sometimes if I will the box with a color that also gets lost during the conversion process. So how do I solve this problem best?
Save as EPS in Visio has failures. You should not use it.
Since you have Acrobat Distiller:
1) Use PDFwriter to print PDF from Visio to a file.
2) Use pdfcrop to get rid of the blank space around your graphics.
pdfcrop is available on CTAN.
3) Include PDF file in LaTeX document.Good output of Visio graphics as EPS is done similarly, with an Adobe PS Generic Printer driver, and ps2eps.
