So your recommendation is neither book? (no book?)
I do need to learn the basics of formatting and fonts and ?? Wouldn't
one of those books be a better way to start out?
Perhaps I need a book that start me off with enough information to be
able to find and make sense of TeX or LaTeX source, can serve as a
reference when I have the basics down, and gives me enough information
to ask knowledgable questions.
Do either of these books make sense for this? or is there a better
recommendation?
thanks
