Latex2html centering issue

[I hope that this is not the wrong group; apologies if so]

I am having trouble with translating some latex into html with
latex2html. The file mostly translates fine, but all of the paragraphs
are centered, rather than normally left-justified. By comparison, the
text is normally aligned when formatted through LaTeX. I have searched
the manual and googled, but I haven't even found any mention of this
problem. Has anyone else seen it? Is there a work-around?

Thank you very much....
