I'm surprised they don't all have this. Perhaps references to the GPL
were stripped out by Valek Filippov, who added Cyrillic glyphs. This
should be corrected; presumably his work is GPLed as well.

Again, perhaps Peter Deutsch, who modified the font, is responsible.

They are licensed to everyone under the GPL, according to this, from
ghostscript's Fontmap.GS:

Perhaps the person was thinking of other "Antiqua" fonts, such as
Monotype's Book Antiqua, a Palatino clone. There are actually about 30
"Antiqua" typefaces.
