Re: Footnote: unwanted empty line



Hi Ralf,

I did what you suggested, I made a minimal example that only included
\usepackage{qthesis} and left out all of the others. It was enough to
produce the problem. I tried it without using qthesis.sty and the
footnote looked normal. So I believe the problem is occurring with
qthesis. So my options are to write a style file myself that conforms
to the guidelines for my university or to figure out what is wrong with
this one. I would prefer the latter.

I also tried what you did using all of the code and \makeatletter
\makeatother and I encountered errors when i compiled it.
