Using Designer I can modify the box properties easily as
mentioned above. Before saving the PDF file I make sure that the form
properties are such that the file can be edited and printed out. The
problem is, no matter what I do, the resulting file can be read all
right by Reader, but not in any way modified.
Inform yourself about a) Acroforms and b) XFA-based forms and how they
compare. Google has all the facts. And then read about Adobbe LiveCycle
Designer Pricing and forget about option b) ;-)
