Print margins

I use Adobe Acrobat 6.0.
I am having a problem getting my printer to print the full page from PDF
exactly as the PDF shows.
The PDF shows a 6 x 9 inch page -- just what it should be. That's the page
size on my WORD document.
I am trying to print the PDF pages onto 8 1/2 x 11 paper -- so there should
be plenty of room to show a 6 x 9 trim size. But when I go to print, the
print preview cuts off the bottom of the page and sends the cut-off page to
the printer. The preview window of the page goes from 6 x 9 to 5.83 x 8.27
inches. This is less than my margins!
Please note that the pages are complete in Acrobat and the thumbnails -- it
is only when I go to print that the bottom is cut off.
All settings for my printer itself are 8.5 x. 11 size paper.
I need to print these pages exactly as they will eventually appear in
published form. When I change the setting to "fit to paper", the result is
smaller image -- and I cannot use that.
How can I fix this so I can print the entire page just as the PDF shows?
