Real hardware is too scarce and $ for some of us.

Look for old AVM B1 ISDN-Controlers. They are based on a transputer with 1MB RAM and have a Link-Interface on board.

For Experiments the first version is the best. The Transputer-Chip is socketed and can changed to other types. Additional thers is a free pin-connector with a decoded bus (8 Adr-Lines/8 Data-Lines). The RAM can be upgraded to 2 MB with 256K*4 DRAM-Chips.
