Cory Burr has released version 3.05 of his TI-99/4A simulator. You
can download it from here:

He has also made a Win994a compatible version of Rich Gilbertson's RXB
cartridge. You can download it in the 'cartride' area.
-------------------
>>From the 'what's new' section of the Win994a help file:
-The ability to use external joysticks has been added to Win994a with
this new version. The ability to map the keyboard's numeric pad as
Joystick1 has been retained.
-A bug fix to Win994a's TIDisk.dll has corrected a few problems with
certain Disk Managers in the area of cataloging a disk. In addition, a
few strange bugs with Win994a's ability to use "named" disks (instead
of "numbered" disks) has been eliminated.
-The old Files menu has been replaced with the title, "Keys". The
reason for this, is because Win994a v3.005 has an enhanced set of
functions under this menu. Besides all the things that were there for
past versions, now commonly used Func Keys (AID,REDO,BACK,ect.) are
listed as a handy way to get these functions if you forget the exact
set of key pushes that would accomplish the same thing. Simply mouse
click on the menu item that will give you the correct Func Key
sequence.
-The Win994a Disk Manager now has the ability to convert PC text
files that contain BASIC source (like the Notepad application would
make), into a binary "merge" file on a TI floppy disk that can be read
and used by TI Extended Basic. This provides an easy way of getting
your old BASIC programs into disk file format so that they can be run
by Win994a. If you have a BASIC source text listing, the Manager can
make a TI BASIC merge file from it. Remember, these are BASIC program
merge files. Please see the TI Extended Basic manual for details on
using BASIC merge files.
-The Win994a Disk Manager can also go the other way and convert a
BASIC merge file into a PC text file listing of it.
-The Win994a Disk Manager has been enhanced to provide a method for
changing floppy disk sizes in place, without losing any of the data
and programs already on them. If you have a floppy disk file that you
would like to contain more programs or data, but it's not big
enough...you can simply request the manager to make it one of the
larger disk sizes. For example, a common 360 sector disk can grow to
become a 720 or even a 1440 sector disk, without losing any disk
contents. Also, disks can shrink if the data already on them can be
accommodated by a smaller size.

Thanks again to Cory for all of his hard work!
Enjoy!
