Hello,
I have a couple of TRS-80 that would like to run some software, so I
thought to use the PC and disk images to make real disks for them but I
can't find the proper way to do it. I've read the TRS-80 faq and I
downloaded Keil's model III/4 emulator.
I am using it on a win98 PII class PC with a 5,25 floppy disk drive as
drive B, the drive was removed from an original 1981 IBM PC, so as far
as I understand my hardware and software should be ok. My problem is I
can't find the way to tell emulator to use the real drive as target for
my backup or format commands, I was not able to find anything specific
on that issue on the emulator instructions too. I guess it's very simple
matter, but I can't get it...thanks for your help.
Regards
Andrea
Look in the support files for a file called FDD1_360.DSK. If you assign
this to a logical drive, such as drive :1 in the emulator, it will use your
B: drive.
Haven't checked recently, but the pseudo DSK files for linking to physical
drives was described in the emulator documentation on David's site.
