Do you mean you have the /CMD files as separate files on your PC?
Like say you have "filename/cmd", it lists as 8,192 bytes, but only
occupies the first 8,000 bytes, and you want to strip the last 192?
Most emulators come with such utilities. I have a couple, one that
removes headers and another that strips off trailing data, given the
number of bytes. You have to supply this number, it isn't automated,
but could be I suppose if these have a header telling the number of
bytes.
Or do you have "slack" area in each sector? I know this is a problem in
the TI community as, say, a Display Fixed 80 file will only use 240 of
the 256 bytes of each sector, leaving 16 bytes of garbage in each
sector. Of course most duplicating software would copy these bytes as
well, only if it was recreated (by reassembling, for example) would you
wind up with different garbage.
