Can you grasp the idea - finally - please; that I consider God an
abstract concept that is neither provable nor unprovable, but, since
*science* has told us that there are many different types of matter and
energy, I choose to believe that spiritual energy exists and therefore
that God exists?
And can you grasp that it's the naked belief that is the absurdity of
the religion, not the detail? Hence my comparison of the religious
with the UFOlogists and consipiracy theorists.
If you want. I can't be bothered anymore. Arguing with an atheist about the
existence of God, especially an atheist conditioned to be nasty towards the
religious, is like arguing with an Elvis fan that most of his songs were
crap and he no more invented rock and roll than Al Gore invented the
Internet.
To quote someone; 'there are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt
of in your philosophy'.
