Nope, microsoft has lost 2 anti-monopoly cases over this, it's because they
forced distributors to install windows (and only windows) in order to get
their gigantic discounts.

Did you install a 64 bit distribution on it?
And explain that the only way to unlock the full power of the CPU was to use
linux or one of the BSDs? XP doesn't do 64 bit, unless you pay the added
expense of buying the new, buggy, limited 64 bit XP.

Put a few penguins in the window, it might not occur to some people to ask
if you don't advertise your willingness.
