What version of Versamail are you using, and on what device?
V3.1c on a Palm TX which is the one provided and there are no updates as far as I know.

Actually, there is an update available for Versamail: it's version
3.5. It was released as an update for the Palm TX, as well as the
LifeDrive and the Treo 650. Unfortunately, Palm is charging $9.99 for
this update, which I think should be free. The good news is that it's
worth it. My TX was constantly crashing on Versamail 3.1c every time
I tried to Sync with my company's Active Exchange server. After
buying and installing version 3.5, it's been working flawlessly.
