The speed of a card is the speed of a card and has NOTHING to do with the device, camera,pda,etc. BUT will only run at that speed if the device supports the higher speed. A fast card in a slow device is a waste of money UNLESS you also use it elsewhere. For instance if the PDA is slow you remove the card and use a reader for data transfer but that is only useful for large transfers as it takes time to move the card and set up the transfer.
