Tungsten C and wifi problem

Hello all,

I'm having a strange problem with my Tungsten C when trying to connect to a wifi network.

When scanning for wifi networks, the palm shows me the surrounding available connections whith their strength. I choose mine, enter the wep key, and then after the connection process, I end up with the message "No signal", although the palm was previously displaying it was getting the IP address...

Then afterwards, my connection is always shown with a zero strength signal, until I remove this connection's settings from the palm memory.

I can connect anyway 1 time among 20 or 30... My WEP key is good (I copy and paste from a memo), since I can connect from time to time...

I have upgraded the OS (version "SLC 6/22/04 7:"), but this does not help. Oh, one more thing : when installing this new OS, the first wifi connection is always succesfull, but afterwards it fails.

Is this a hardware problem ? Software bug ? I've searched the web and usenet without getting any hints...

Thanks for your help,

Charly
