If your friend is using any of the operating systems listed below,
you'll have problems; Palm does not support any ot them.

Windows XP Tablet PC Edition
Windows XP Media Center Edition

Any Windows Terminal Server version
CPUs that use Hyper-Threading Technology
Dual- or Multiple-CPU computers
