People have reported that the Treo can take up to a 2Gb SD card. Most
of those have been 60x or slower, many of the reports I've seen say
that faster than that doesn't work.

You can put any kind of file you want onto the expansion card. Though
if that's your purpose, you should consider getting a dedicated card
reader. There is also software that can turn the PDA into a card
reader. Works in conjunction with Windows, I don't know if it works in
conjunction with a Mac or Linux, though.

Conversion may not be necessary, depending on the media player you
install. The included one is very basic.

Yes to GPS, I don't know about FM. Adding an FM radio seems like a
waste to me, anyway.
