One of the built-in account types in Versamail is "Exchange
Activesync". It is not necessarily required to use an Exchange server.
It's merely the settings to use for a mail exchange when synching the
device. You may have to set the Versamail conduit settings in Hotsync
Manager as well as on the Treo, if setting them on one side only does
not automatically populate the other side when you sync.
This interacts with your mail server, not with Outlook.
If you want to specifically sync with Outlook instead of the mail
server, then other possible solutions include Pocket Mirror XT or
KeySuite from Chapura, among others.
