I did try a hard reset/quick erase/hotsync after deleting
AppSlipRotate.prc and StatusBarLib.prc from the /ProgramFiles/PalmOne/
(username)/Backup folder (as well as every instance of them with the
same version I could find on my system), but it did not help. After
hotsync the LifeDrive asks for a reset and hangs. Did the same trick
again (after draining the battery) with PocketTunes.prc (or pTunes.prc,
I'm not sure) deleted and still no result. Problem is I can't get into
the device after hotsync, so I can't possibly install Filez or any other
app without hotsyncing. I could install my main apps from zero after a
quick erase, but then I would loose a few hundred adressess and a lot of
other stuff I had just managed to transfer (manually!) from my old and
trusty Psion 3MX.
Who has the Golden Tip???
(I'd almost forget to thank rjh, not very nice of me. Thanks rjh! BTW
I'm the same guy as 'Satan' but I posted with another app in Ubuntu and
forgot to make a good profile in the Windoze newsprog....)
