Using FireFox v3.0.5 some websites give me the following message.
"You need to download and install the MRJ Plugin for Netscape"
I have downloaded the MRJ plugins, there seems to be two of them one for
Netscape 4.76 and one for Netscape 6 can anyone give me detailed
instructions on how I need to install them or a website explaining it
would be great .
Thanks for any help...john
Create a brand-new Mac OS X user account, log into it, and try going to
that web site. Do you get the same message?
Ok Brand new user account and new download of FF 3.0.8. When FF started
I opted for the "Don't import anything" option as before I logged into
my Unlimited FTP site. I can see both sites I use for FTP but get the
message when trying to go to either one. Works in Safari and Opera. I
can't figure it out but I do know FF handles other Java sites ok.
Thanks for all the help.
Ok so we've ruled out local account settings then.
Can you give an exact URL to the web site that reproduces this problem
please?
Also, it would be helpful to see a screen shot of the verbatim error
message you are seeing on the screen.

How To Post Screen Shots To Newsgroups
You can post a screenshot link using a service like ImageShack.
ImageShack
is an easy-to-use free media hosting service. It can be used to upload
images. Registration is not required in order to upload files.
1. On your keyboard, press Command-Shift-4.
2. On your keyboard, press the space bar.
3. Click the window you want. A picture file will appear on the desktop.
4. Go to http://imageshack.us/.
5. Click Browse, then navigate to and select the picture file.
6. Click "host it!".
7. Paste the "Show image to friends" URL in a newsgroup message.

Send responses to the relevant news group rather than email to me.
E-mail sent to this address may be devoured by my very hungry SPAM
filter. Due to Google's refusal to prevent spammers from posting
messages through their servers, I often ignore posts from Google
Groups. Use a real news client if you want me to see your posts.
