To those of us who did not recognize it as a typo, it was
incomprehensible gibberish.

Well, ugh, I'm terribly, terribly sorry for my malformed wurd?
Oh, well, that wasn't fair, it was directly recognizable as the
correct word. Then I'll say: Get a life, nut squad! You guys didn't
merely make (equiv) spelling flames at me (so lame!), you actually
got _angry_ about it, and in an OT thread no less.

All you had to do was explain that it was a typo, and that would have
put the matter to rest

You might want to go back and look at this thread: see the angst emitted
from what I would now call 'the usual suspects.' Rosenberg got the
early jump asking me to describe my point. It was a slightly grumpy
post. Then let's see maybe it was Mr. Jolly. Oh, he quickly made a
comparision question to the real Nazis (bzzzt), and then he vented
at me all about his problems with Google Groups. You caughed up the
'you suborned theft' hairball, not true. You never admit it when you're
wrong, at least as far as dealing with me.

And guess what's wrong with this:

All you had to do was explain that it was a typo

This is where I was first told of it.

What is this sentence supposed to mean exactly?

I re-read the sentence at that time: and I still didn't see it.

I don't know why.

After that, the ridicule piled on deep and thick.

I don't recall anyone _ridiculing_ Fischer about
his repeated transpositions.

Some of you have a real knack for filling a forum
with angst and anger - like I said even over typos.

Um, you're the one who is provoking.

The thread history proves otherwise. Go ahead, quote it.

You certainly don't take helpful suggestions very well. JR was trying
to help you by pointing out that your signature was malformed.

Ugh, no, he posted that back in Mar 2008. I did post the date, but
I wasn't as clear as I should have been on the attributions.

He proclaimed that I was a net nanny, I showed he was too.
Same thing for all the net typo nannies. Y'all really know
how to, like, create lake effect snow or something.

Ugh, that was just for me. I'm ending with a soothing thought.
