Re: Internet sharing via Airport - Resolved

I'm trying to share my Mac Pro's ethernet internet connection with my
iPhone via Airport. This USED to work, but now the name of the Mac Pro
doesn't even show up in the list of avaialble wireless networks. I have
tried turning Internet Sharing on and off, selecting a specific channel,
turning encryption on and off, etc., but no luck. The Mac Pro is able to
access the internet via an old Charcoal Airport, so I know that the
Airport card is working.

I'd be really greatful for any suggestions, as uploads are slower and
less reliable if I connect via the base station as opposed to via
ethernet direct to the router.

Thanks in advance,

Dave

Seems that a channel change was the cause of the problem. Setting the
channel to channel 1 allows the iPhone to see the MacPro and share its
internet connection. Channel 11 - no go.
