So far as I can see the only question is how big the landslide is going to
be. I don't think it'll be Reagan/Mondale size (Willy-Wally lost _every state
except Minnesota_. It takes _talent_ for a Democrat to lose Hawaii or
Massachusetts...) but it may well beat Bush/Dukakis. Tank Boy got 10 states.
John Boy may get fewer than that. (Arizona, Alabama, Alaska, Georgia, South
Carolina, and after that it gets hazy...) It looks to me as though Obama has
over 360 electoral college votes in his pocket right now, and that total
seems likely to only grow. It would take a Cubs-like meltdown to keep him
from strolling to victory.
