What can a 16-yrear-old boy possibly have on his drive that he's so
worried about someone recovering? If it's your porn your concerned
about, everyone would just assume you had it there anyway.
What if some of that porn is candid shots of his girlfriend and/or
boyfriend? A lot of youngsters nowadays like to send each other nude
photos of themselves. There would be at least two potential big
problems if a stranger got a hold of nude photos of his girlfriend
and/or boyfriend:
1. It would be quite a privacy invasion for the subject of the photo.
Unlike a typical porn model, they probably have not given permission to
have their photo spread beyond him.
2. The stranger might report it as child pornography. Unbelievable as
it may seem, if kid 1 takes a candid photo of themselves, of their own
free will, and sends it to kid 2, it can in fact be considered child
pornography in the hands of kid 2. Kids have been charge with
possession of child porn for having web cam photos their girlfriends
sent to them. (In one case I vaguely remember, a kid was even charged
with producing child porn for taking photos of himself to send to his
girlfriend!).
