Yes, but ResEdit isn't one of them. A websearch shows that. I checked.
The world does not revolve around these questions, but I would like
Classic to run like OS 9.2.2 did when I booted on it.
The only way to do that is to boot under Mac OS 8.x or Mac OS 9.x.
Don't have that option in Tiger.
What I do have under "Advanced" is the ability to start with extensions off.
I don't understand, I think the OP *is* booting into native Classic. You can tell the machine to do that in the System Preferences.
