Has anyone any experience of running 10.5 on a 1GHz eMac?
It'll work. It'll be slow.
Slow in what context? Certainly it probably wouldn't be slower than Mac
OS X 10.4 or 10.3 on the same computer, right?
It might be. I think I have experienced 10.5 on a G4 with 768 MB RAM
to be slower than 10.4 on the same computer.
I suspect with enough RAM, 10.5 is faster than 10.4, but I don't know
where that point is.
You may be right. I tend to upgrade the RAM in most of my Macs to ver 2
GB if possible. So I wouldn't have noticed a slow down, but a speed up.
