Apparently I did understand you, but my experience is different. I
added all three of my .Mac addresses as .Mac accounts in
Mail>Preferences, Accounts pane, and both of my Comcast addresses as
POP accounts and all appear in the list of accounts (with the proper
categorization) as well as being choices in the "From" popup when I'm
addressing outgoing mail. In my case the .Mac accounts have names "Me
on .mac", "Spenser's account", and "Work account" in the list, with a
".Mac" type listing in Preferences' Accounts pane. These accounts were
initially created under Tiger's Mail app and carried across into
Leopard.
Yeah, but I'm not talking about having more than one account.
Okay, I didn't understand you (and still don't), I guess. I'm confused
as to what you're attempting because I don't understand what you mean
by multiple email addresses attached to one .mac account. Are they .mac
aliases (that redirection is handled by .mac, so you don't deal with it
manually)?
No. as I said before:
Go into Mail's prefs. Click on the Accounts tab. Try adding more than
one email address in the 'Email Address' field and having it stick if
it's a .Mac account. I cannot do that.
You skip a step for us to try to follow. When I click on Accounts tab I get
all the accounts. How do I get to where you say, "Try adding more than one
email address in teh 'Email Address' field ...?"
Pardon me, I left out selecting the 'Account Information' tab in your
..Mac account. But really - was that hard to find? There is only one
field titled 'Email Address'.

If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate.
