Apple simply doesn't _care_ about that market segment. Too much work for too
little profit. If others want to fight it out over pennies, Apple is more
than willing to let them do so by themselves. Apple has no presence in
_several_ market segments and shows no sign of wanting to be present there.
As they seem to be doing okay as it is...
