Try running a port scan of it. I suspect that there will be aqua tools to do that, but I use nmap installed via macports.
But if all sharing is turned off, than you will either have to get physical access to the machine with a keyboard and monitor, you will have to find some remote exploit of the database server. Using nmap and metaspliot you can try to see if there is a known vulnerability that will allow you to break in.
I wouldn't know how to do that, but thanks for the suggestion.
I think that attaching a keyboard and monitor temporily would be the better option.
No can do. No video card available. Besides, I'm running everything off an external FW disk. I'll just clone it and restore the image on the original HD.
