With screens getting bigger and bigger, allowing for multi person
watching of movies, the remote's usefulness becomes more needed. Once
30"+ screens are more of the norm, even more so.
It works in apple's apps, I think it won't work unless the author
specifically makes it so. just tried in VLC and it doesn't work there.
