Downloads, but nothing plays it.

It should play in your browser, just drop it in the window. I normally
use firefox but I just tried in safari (running 10.5.2) and it worked
there too.

Sorry, that's just the page I downloaded the swf from. Same thing here,
the .mov seems to be default in their player window so it doesn't work,
but if you click on the 'pangea.swf' link on the right it should load
and play it.

Anything involving Flash has been unusable since Leopard. Plus the Adobe
Installer for the Leopard fails, as does the Adobe Uninstaller (both of
which demand that you use an Admin user to get anything to work).

Mind you, the web has been so much more peaceful since Leopard.

Yeah flash is a PITA. I really recommend the noscript mozilla plug-in.
It's the main thing that stops me using Safari. Things are so much
better without scripts and plug-ins, and that extension lets you choose
on an url basis what to allow, so you can get 'content' and still not
allow all the crap.
