This Quicktime movie plays in OSX 10.4 but not in 10.5. Any idea why?

it contains a flash track. do you have flash installed?

Doesn't play here either, just black, even with (spit) scripts turned on
and perian installed. Suggest asking the site owners to supply it in a
standard form?

Same here. A black file with no visible content.

This works, the original link is mov, this is flv
http://emvc.geol.ucsb.edu/animations/flash/pangea.swf

Downloads, but nothing plays it.

http://emvc.geol.ucsb.edu/download/pangea.php

Nothing visible for viewing.

Anything involving Flash has been unusable since Leopard. Plus the Adobe
Installer for the Leopard fails, as does the Adobe Uninstaller (both of
which demand that you use an Admin user to get anything to work).

Mind you, the web has been so much more peaceful since Leopard.
