Every one of there programs should have some kind of 'Trimmer'

It's too impossible.

This reminds me.

A couple of summers back we had some people over at our house, and a
friend of theirs was here for a few hours and wanted to check their
email (He was getting twitchy).

Knowing he was not a native English speaker I very quickly setup an
account for him on my Mac in his native language. He was, I am pleased
to say, stunned. At first he thought I spoke French and had been hiding
it from him because why else would i have a French OS X.

Safari and Mail and the Finder where all in French. Firefox, not so
much.

That is a very charming story, but i think that it probably represents
about .0000000000000000000000000000001% of real life scenarios...

According to the way i think it should work,
When you first set your application [x] up, it would ask you what
languages you wanted to keep, and maybe at that time, you would have
the foresight to include French...
But if you didn't, then at the some later time, when you wanted to set
up the application for a friend, that spoke-- Not just one of the
languages that Apple included with it's initial download -- BUT ANY OF
THE 6000 or so LANGUAGES SPOKEN ON PLANET EARTH -- then you could pull
up some obscure menu selector that says; 'New Language?' and you could
then access the language of choice from the internet, and download it
to your computer.
That would be a zillion times more functional and make your friends
from Timbuktu, just as happy as your frog-eaters.

For this to work properly, all apps would have to be localised for all
6000 languages, seems to me. How is that going to work?
