Ok, I just downloaded FontForge_macX.5_ppc-py25-20080109.pkg, and the
included installer *does not* open an xterm window.

If I run Terminal, though, and enter the command 'fontforge' into it,
Font Forge launches in X11 automatically:

# fontforge
Copyright (c) 2000-2008 by George Williams.
Executable based on sources from 15:11 GMT 9-Jan-2008.
Library based on sources from 15:11 GMT 9-Jan-2008.

So where does this leave us?
