3 hard drives on Intel Mini

I've never heard of anyone running 2 IDE devices on an external USB case
but I tried it today and it worked. I used 2 IDE hard drives as Master
and Slave and they appear and seem to work fine. This is nice as now I
can have a DVD burner on external USB along with an IDE hard drive for
backup in a removable mobile rack. Also I can add additional IDE
storage space by using another mobile rack when not backing up. I
wonder if all external USB IDE enclosures recognize both Master and
Slave if 2 devices are used on the IDE cable? I'm powering them with an
ATX power supply just to make sure I don't overload the little power
supply of the external USB case, but it did work OK when everything was
hooked up to it for a while. (I use a full size 7200 rpm Sata drive for
the main hard drive and full size DVD burner on the 1.5ghz Mini.)
