Dear friend, have you tried MacDrive for Windows?

I have a question concerning hard drive formats. I have a 250 GbThanks
Western Digital usb external hard drive I am using for backup. When I
purchased the drive, my Macbook Pro and windows desktop both
recognized the drive. I recently reformatted the drive into 2
partitions (using disk utility). I used Superduper! to make a
bootable copy on one of the partitions and am using the other for
storage. I was told to format the drive (at least the bootable one)
as Mac OS Extended (Journaled) because this was the correct format for
a bootable drive. Both partitions were formated this way. This is
great except sometimes (very seldom) I need to use my PC and swap
files back and forth. After reformatting the external hard drive it
is no longer recognized by Windows. Is there a particular format that
will A. be fully booatble on my mac and B. be pc and mac friendly.
Can someone give me a brief synopsis on the difference between Mac OS
Extended, Mac OS Extended (Journaled), Mac OS Extended (Case-
sensitive, Journaled) Mac OS standard etc. Any help would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks in advance. Sincerely,
