The screen on my eMac will begin vibrating slightly and quickly. It's
a little dizzying. The machine is three or four years old. It's not
related to me bumping the desk (can happen when I'm not even sitting
here), nor to music being played out of the speakers. Is the "picture
tube" going?
In addition to what's already ben suggested, I have seen nearby
florescent lights do this to a CRT monitor as well.
Try physically picking up the computer when that happens and moving it.
Does that change anything?
Try killing power to every electrical gadget in the vicinity when it
happens. Does that work?
