My first problem showed up tonight when i tried scanning
from photoshop.
I DLed the latest scanner driver for intel-macs from the
epson site and installed it, but photoshop doesn't see it.
Which version of Photoshop? When you say Photoshop "doesn't see it" do
you mean that it doesn't appear under Import? Have you confirmed that
the Epson plug-in was, in fact, installed in PS's plug-ins folder? Does
the scanner work if you use it separately from Photoshop?
sorry for taking so long to reply, but i didn't have good answers to all
your questions.
it's cs3.
yes, it does not show up in the import menu.
There appears to be no PS plugin.
There was nothing in the Plugins folder of the
old CS3 installation either.
files are placed in Library/ColorSync/Profiles
and
Library/Image Capture/TWAIN Data Sources
So, the question is... "how did PS know about the
scanner before?".
yes, the EPSON Scan application manages the scanner
and produces an image.
