Have a small design studio and we back up to DVD's almost monthly. I
would like to be able to add an external carousel of some sort to read
these DVD over the network and pull jobs from the archive DVD's -
anyone know of anything like this? Having a difficult time finding
something Mac friendly.

Those things used to be all the rage. But big hard drives are now so
cheap they're not worth it any more. I'm serious: cost out the two
solutions (DVDs + burner + carousel vs. hard disk) and you'll see it's
cheaper to just store the files on a hard disk.

Here's one: Hitachi terabyte hard disk: $399. Add a FireWire enclosure to
put it in and you're still under $500 for the equivalent of 230 DVDs.
