Built in iSight question

You know how a wide angle lens stretches the face when you get too
close? I was wondering if the iSight has addressed that? In other
words, how close do you have to get to the lens before you notice the
stretching affect?
And I wonder if Apple will ever consider putting the iSight in some of
their monitors? Webcams can be a real hassle with the wires and
mounting, especially if you move your monitor around at all. Firewire
DV video cameras, while offering far more optical options, are a way
bigger mounting hassle. I would think, if it doesn't cost them much,
it might be a great marketing strategy to perhaps offer an "iSight
option" for say $100 more. It might be a hit. Especially as they
seem to have discontinued the iSight.
