Hi,Which Imac do you have? Some could run Classic nativly, some
can anybody help me?
i got an older Power Pc (Imac) with mac os 10.4.8 installed on the hd.
i got the mac for special program, that can only run on an mac, So ,
as i tried out to install the prg, the mac said, i have no classic OS
9 .
on th online help, i read ot, i can re - install it fro the original
cd.
but i buyed only th mac without any CD's. So i looked at ebay for
these CD's,
but this SW is on DVD's. My problem is, in the imac is only a CD
drive.
could NOT. and No, It is against the United States Copyright Act for
anyone to send you the files, without Apple's permission.
But... There ARE MAC Os 9.0.4 and Mac Os 9.2.2 retail/ system specific
CDs on Ebay.
In fact.... I have only seen ONE Macos 9.2.2 DVD on Ebay, Mac Os
9.2.2 does not take more than 500MB with all of the extra's it bundles
in the package, a DVD is overkill!. Since you have an Imac try to
either get the Imac version for your machine or the full retail
Mac Os 9.2.2 CD to be guaranteed to have a happy boot session.
You can also buy from Apple the version for your machine if you want
to forgo EBAY and its crazy bidding game.
