A good way to frighten me senseless is to suggest writing any sort of
script. I am terrified by scripts of any kind, they are an invention
of the devil.
Gawd-awful unreasonable mental block of some kind.
For that reason, I like Wes's approach much better, get in there and
tear the living be-jesus out of a file, directly.
Better yet, if/when I get in a mean mood, I will merely delete every
single log file in sight.
OS X will probably re-create new empty log files at the next restart.
