We have an Imac running OS 10.4.7 that is used by three people, me and
my two daughters.
I have the admin. account and both daughters have standard accounts. In
my account and one of the other accounts you double click to open the
hard drive, a CD, anything and it opens as expected. However, in the
third account you can't get anything to open by double clicking on it.
You must select it, then open it by using the open button in the
finder's file menu.
How does one fix this account so that you can open items by simply
clicking on them?
Adjust the mouse buttons "Double-Clock Speed" setting located in
the "Mouse" settings sub-panel of the "Keyboard & Mouse" panel of
the System Preferences.
