10.4.7 and Photoshop

I've noticed that since moving up to 10.4.7 that there is a bug in
Photoshop 7 that will not allow me to use the Liquify tool. When I save a
msh layer it saves as an alias only pointing nowhere.
I have looked for any patches or docs related to the issue
but have found none. Any ideas?
