It's a full install of OS X 10.4.2. I just had another look at the ad.
Yes, the DVDs are gray. The seller says the install pack is for a Power
Mac, but the seller owns a G5 iMac, so can't use it.

This statement makes no sense:

My reason for sale is that I have an imac g5, but not a powermac g5,
THIS INSTALL PACK IS FOR A POWERMAC

This tells me this is not a retail OS X Tiger disks, but a machine
specific disks. If it was retail version it can be installed on any Mac
that can handle Tiger.

Says this is a full
install originally from a Power Mac, but has never been used or
registered.

Again this statement: "This is a full install originally from a powermac"

Leads me to the conclusion that this is a machine specific OS X, and
will only work with the same type of Mac that the disks came from.

There's a photo of all contents, and text says it comes
with both installation DVDs, paperwork, manuals, and warranty,
license agreement, support guide and service guide, and Welcome
to Tiger booklet.

I'll still inquire of the seller if it will indeed work on my model.

Thanks,
Eric

Well, this certainly does suck. This is the lowest-priced Tiger on eBay,
but I should still be able to find a good deal. I'll just bail out of the
auction, and save myself a lot of headache and money wasted.

Thanks,
