Assuming you're talking about Dashboard Widgets.
This only happens when you activate Dashboard. By default Dashboard is
triggered by the F12 key only. If you can trigger it with something else
(perhaps moving your mouse cursor into a specific corner), then you must
have configured that yourself. Just change that ito whatever *is*
practical to you.
and i have to work with the middle scroll button to make them disappear
Eh? Never heard of a middle scroll button.
i also have more downloaded than my screen can fit
Downloading is 1 thing, installing another, and activating yet another
;) Anyway, to deactivate a Dashboard Widget, first activate Dashboard,
then hold the Option/Alt key. Now when you moce the mousecursor over a
Widge you'll see an X sign right next to it. Click that to close the
Widget.
