A normal re-instal will SAVE System files in a "previous System
Folder', so wanted files and Preferences can be retrieved. I find this
a good way of eliminating Preferences , iPhoto and iTune files. You can
stikk retrieve these files when reloading iPhoto and iTunes if needed.
You can SAVE Prefernces and internet settings by setting this Option
when Reloading from Sysrem Disk.
I've just re-installed OS X under the "Archive and install" option which just
re-installs the OS and leaves all other files intact. The process went like
a dream and everything is running well. On the HD there is now a directory
called "Previous Systems". Is it oK to delete this? What a wonderful simple
process after Windows.
