I have airport setup with ethernet. My printer is also connected to
ethernet. Whenever I try to print, it says opening printer
connections, forever. Any suggestions? I have an HP Officejet 7210.
Start with the basics. Can you ping the printer?
Greg
I was using the printer via ethernet way before I went wireless and it
worked fine, so there's no problem with the printer. The problem is
more towards the ethernet to airport. Oh, and I can't share files over
my local network either. Internet's fine, AirPort light is green.
Yes, so it appears that it's a network issue. Can you ping the printer?
Can you list the IPs for your Mac, Airport, printer, etc? Give us something
more than the "AirPort light is green"?
Greg
