Can the G4 Cube read MiniDVD discs, anyone knows?

The G4 Cube manual doesn't warn against putting my camera's MiniDVD in
the vertical disc slot, but it could be easily because MiniDVD's
weren't widely used yet when the docs were written...

Now, I could dupe my MiniDVD to a normal DVD on either of my G5s with
Toast 7... except this OSX 10.4.5. G4 Cube drive spits out every normal
(single density) DVD I write on them. Go figure this thing...
